Responsibilities:Vehicle Operation and Safety:Safely operate heavy vehicles for 10-11 hours a day following DOT state and federal laws and regulations. Inspections: Perform comprehensive pre-trip en-route and post-trip inspections of tires lights brakes and fuel. Cargo Management: Load unload and securely fasten cargo using straps chains or binders to prevent shifting. CHECK AS NEEDED. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate records hours of service bills of lading and fuel receipts. Communication: Maintain regular contact with your supervisor to provide status updates route changes delays or cargo : Perform minor repairs report major mechanical issues and keep the tractor/ trailer clean. RETURN WITH A FULL TANK OF FUEL!Any other duties as : Show up on time or early Have a good attitude Give maximum effort Be kind Ask questions
