Job Summary
NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking a Driver at San Jose Funeral Home in Hialeah FL. Our Care Center team assumes the crucial role of ensuring seamless operation and support throughout the various stages of the funeral process. We serve as the cornerstone of our funeral home operations providing the initial interaction with many of the families we serve. We are peace-of-mind-providers - we uphold our commitment to care in every interaction.
Responsibilities
- Transport deceased from various locations to Funeral Homes and Cemetery
- Assist with funeral services such as transferring and lifting of deceased dressing and casketing visitation viewings and witness insertions at the crematory
- Handle general maintenance and cleaning of vehicles belonging to the facility
- Treat all customers and passengers with courtesy and respect at all times.
- Drive company vehicles within legal standards
Qualifications
- Valid drivers license and ability to pass MVR check
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- High level of compassion and integrity
- Ability to lift 150- 200 pounds without the assistance of mobile or powered equipment
- Bilingual in English & Spanish (read / write / speak)
