At Apple we craft the future of technology and make the impossible happen. From iPhone to Mac to Apple Vision Pro it all starts with a vision made possible through Apple Silicon. Our latest SoCs are the result of planning and execution that were many years in the making. Join us to do your lifes best work in this rare opportunity to help define the next big thing that will surprise and delight the world!nnThe Hardware Engineering organization is the team that delivers Apples industry-leading custom SoCs the silicon at the heart of every Apple product. Within this organization our DRAM team partners with the worlds leading memory suppliers to bring the most advanced memory technologies to life alongside Apple silicon. We are looking for a seasoned Strategic Supply Chain Management Engineering Program Manager to be at the center of the action driving DRAM technology strategy engineering qualification programs and supplier technical roadmaps that power the next generation of Apple products.
In this role you will sit at the critical intersection of silicon engineering memory technology and product programs to drive DRAM technology decisions for years to come. You will bring a deep understanding of the memory/semiconductor industry and the intricacies of relationships between internal silicon design packaging system and operations teams to lead supplier engagements and enable smooth ramps of high volume technically complex memory devices across Apples product this multifaceted role you will own DRAM technology strategy from technology selection through long-term roadmap alignment. You will drive decisions on technology adoption build priorities and risk mitigation while providing engineering-informed inputs to NPI supply cost models in partnership with Global Supply Management (GSM). You will harness worldwide memory supplier capabilities to Apples advantage and optimize supplier engineering performance by monitoring and influencing key metrics such as yield quality reliability and technical readiness. You will rapidly synthesize complex engineering qualification and supply data into clear narratives for senior leadership and proactively identify risks that could impact product strategy. The role includes periodic international travel to supplier sites primarily in Korea and Taiwan.
