Position Overview:The DOTSpecialistadministers andmaintainstheDOTregulatedandnonDOTtesting programs including random postaccident reasonable suspicion andreturntodutytesting. This role manages SAP coordination and RTD schedules oversees DISA enrollment and compliance completesDOTcompliantemployment and testing verifications andmaintainsaccurate confidential testing records and logs. The position collaborates closely withPeopleTeam Safety DOT and field/office management to ensure timely testing proper documentation and adherence to all regulatory and companyrequirements.regulatedandnonDOTtesting programs including randompostaccident reasonable suspicion andreturntodutytesting. KeyResponsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance and Program Administration
- Administer andmaintainall DOT and regulated testing program compliance requirements.
- Administer DOT and non-DOT drug/alcohol testing programs including random post-accident and reasonable suspicion.
- Review and document quarterly random selections and ensure timely test completion.
- Review and resolve NECS/DOT missing items and ensure completion of requirements.
- Case Management and Documentation
- Manage SAP coordination and Return-to-Duty (RTD) documentation and testing schedules.
- Maintainaccurateand confidential testing records.
- Complete DOT-compliant employment verifications andmaintaindetailed logs.
- Data Monitoring and Follow-Up
- Monitor results follow up on outstanding tests and coordinate disciplinary actions withPeopleTeam.
- Manage DISA enrollment compliance background checks and test verifications.
- Cross DepartmentCoordination and Communication
- Collaborate withPeople Team DOT Safety and Office Managers to ensure compliance and effective communication.
Qualifications:
Education:Highschooldegree
Experience:
- DOT compliance
- FMCSA regulations
- drug/alcohol testing programspreferred
Required Skills:
- Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Physical Demands:
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Navigate uneven terrain at job sites
- Use hands to handle tools materials and equipment
- Bend stoop kneel crouch and climb as
- Climb ladders and stairs
- Work at elevated heights when necessary
- Lift carry and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Maintain visual awareness sufficient to safelyoperatetools and equipment
