Role Overview

Windy City Paws is looking for a dependable person to join our professional team! As a part-time Dog Walking Professional youll ensure our clients dogs are happy healthy and well cared for during weekday visits. This role includes benefits such as Paid Time Off (PTO) and 401(k) payroll contributions; perfect for animal lovers who thrive in a reliable routine.

What Youll Do

• Prepare the dog or dogs in each household to go outside with the appropriate gear (leash harness etc.).
• Provide fun and enriching playtime for the full duration of the service (typically 30 or 60 minutes for dog walks or 2 hours for a pet sit).
• Provide food water and/or medication per client instructions and Windy City Paws provided training.
• Clean up after dogs outside on walks and inside the homes if there are accidents and clean up litter boxes for cats.

• Availability Monday-Friday 10AM-4PM (required).
• Age 18 and authorization.
• Reliable commute to Chicago service areas listed above.
• Ability to work in all weather and walk several hours per day.
• Smartphone with data plan for communication and tracking.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Pay & Perks

• Paid per walk (rate varies by visit length and location).
• Typical earnings: $250-$350 per week (15-20 hours).
• $300 bonus after a successful 90 day review.
• PTO accrual and 401(k) eligibility after 6 months.
