This position reports to:

ABBs Distribution Solutions Division facilitates the efficient and reliable distribution protection and control of power by improving electric power quality while strengthening the resilience of the grid.

Position: Documentation Specialist

The work model for the role is: Onsite Mebane NC #LI-onsite

Your role and responsibilities:

• Maintain project documents records and version control within the document management system.

• Ensure documentation complies with company procedures standards and confidentiality requirements.

• Track update and distribute document registers reports and project documentation status.

• Coordinate document reviews approvals filing and distribution activities.

• Monitor documentation progress and support on-time project delivery.

• Provide guidance on document control processes and best practices.

• Identify and recommend improvements to document management processes and tools.

Qualifications for the role:

• High School Diploma or GED

• 0 - 2 years of experience

• Experience with GPLM software preferred

• Windchill experience preferred

• SAP preferred

The Division offers segment-specific products and solutions that largely serve utilities industry and infrastructure segments often providing the requisite medium-voltage link between high-voltage transmission systems and low-voltage users.
