Document Control Clerk

Washington Works WV

Onsite assignment.

Monday-Friday.

The Document Control Clerk plays a critical role in supporting engineering and operations teams by maintaining a structured and accessible documentation system. This position ensures that all equipment files and project-related documents are accurately managed and readily available to site personnel and clients.

Adhere to clients core values of Safety Integrity Partnership Respect and Ownership.

Reproduce and distribute engineering and technical documents to internal teams contractors and clients.

Maintain and update equipment data files including P&IDs and datasheets.

Ensure compliance with client-specific document control procedures and industry standards (e.g. ISO OSHA PSM).

Manage documentation using systems such as Documentum SharePoint and SAP.

Maintain a comprehensive document control register for all project and operational documentation.

Assist with project closeout documentation efforts by updating appropriate drawing and data repositories.

Operate and maintain large-format plotters and printers for engineering drawings.

Monitor and replenish office and documentation supplies.

Use Microsoft Office applications to support documentation workflows and reporting.

Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering operations and EHS teams.

Minimum 3 years of document control experience in a chemical or industrial manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with project handover requirements in a process plant setting.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and document management platforms.

Knowledge of chemical plant operations and terminology is a plus.

High School Diploma or equivalent.
