Together we are Building A Better the Role:The Dock Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining a safe efficient and reliable flow of materials through the facility. This position coordinates inbound and outbound shipments finished goods returnable containers dock equipment and material movements while ensuring customer requirements and production needs are ideal candidate is organized detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly. Strong communication problem-solving skills and a sense of urgency are essential to keeping material moving and supporting customer You Will Do:Coordinate daily inbound receiving and outbound shipping activities ensuring accurate and timely data outbound shipments including finished goods PPO orders returnables and expedited finished goods inventory and make shipping configuration decisions based on customer and operational returnable container inventories shipments and related and oversee inbound and outbound Hi-Lo driver Hi-Lo and tugger equipment leases preventative maintenance repairs and service Delivery Location FIFO requirements and ensure material is properly staged and supplier returns including scrap and rework dock repairs and maintenance dunnage returns and removal including pallets and other reusable inbound and outbound expedites to support production and customer potential disruptions to material flow and take proactive action to resolve accurate records and ensure dock activities comply with company policies and safety and effectively use new systems technology and with warehouse materials production transportation and customer teams to maintain efficient material the team and customer by responding quickly to changing priorities and operational You Need To Be Successful:At least 1 year of dock warehouse shipping receiving or material-handling clerical administrative or data-entry service experience preferably in an automotive or manufacturing attention to detail and organizational to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced problem-solving skills and the ability to identify issues and take initiative to resolve verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with employees across multiple to work effectively under pressure and meet time-sensitive sense of urgency when addressing issues that could impact production or customer team-oriented attitude and willingness to adapt to changing to learn and effectively use new technology systems and :High school diploma or equivalentTravel:No travel requiredWhat We Offer:We believe our team members are our greatest investment which is why we offer a competitive total rewards package designed to support you at every stage of your career and life.
