DME Territory Sales Manager
Job Summary
- Develop new business across Indiana and southern Michigan through consistent prospecting cold outreach referrals networking and face-to-face meetings.
- Identify physicians surgeons clinics and other healthcare professionals who could benefit from non-opioid pain management treatment alternatives.
- Educate physicians and healthcare professionals on thermal compression therapy electrical stimulation and their potential role in patient pain management.
- Conduct physician meetings educational lunches product presentations and other customer-facing activities that support adoption.
- Maintain and expand newly acquired accounts by delivering responsive service and identifying opportunities to increase prescription volume.
- Collaborate with sales leadership while remaining personally accountable for territory execution and results.
- College degree preferably in Business Administration Sales Marketing or a related discipline or relevant military experience.
- Comparable B2B sales accomplishments may be considered in place of traditional educational credentials.
- Proven success in a quota-carrying sales position preferably within medical devices healthcare or another competitive B2B selling environment.
- Demonstrated history of generating new business through personal prospecting rather than relying primarily on inbound leads or established accounts.
- Experience developing a geographic territory and managing opportunities throughout the complete sales cycle.
- Experience selling to physicians healthcare professionals administrators or other sophisticated professional buyers is highly desirable.
- Ability to quickly learn medical terminology clinical concepts and medical technologies.
- Strong hunter mentality with the persistence and competitive drive to prospect consistently and win new accounts.
- Ability and motivation to develop a territory independently build and manage a pipeline and execute the full sales cycle.
- Confident communication and presentation skills with the ability to earn credibility with physicians and healthcare professionals.
- Strong territory planning prioritization and time management capabilities.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote field-based sales environment.
- Customer-focused without losing sight of sales objectives and new business expectations.
- Valid drivers license in good standing and access to a personal vehicle.
- Willing and able to travel extensively throughout the territory.
- Must reside in Indiana or southern Michigan.
