Pacific Staffing is partnering with our client to identify a Divisional Controller who will lead day-to-day accounting operations and deliver accurate timely financial reporting in a high-expectation operations-driven environment. This role is ideal for a disciplined detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a hands-on role maintains strict process adherence and collaborates closely with project managers and operational leadership.
The Divisional Controller will oversee AP AR month-end close revenue-recognition support billing compliance and financial reporting while reinforcing accounting standards across the business. Were seeking a responsive organized and reliable individual who excels in fast-paced settings and brings strong communication skills GAAP expertise WIP accounting experience and a continuous-improvement mindset along with a proven background in financial accounting and reporting.

- Salary: $140K-$175K/Year (DOE).
- 100% onsite located in Sacramento CA.
Responsibilities
- Manage AP AR and full-cycle accounting for a single-entity operation.
- Lead month-end close and deliver accurate financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with union billing AIA billing and construction/field-service accounting standards.
- Partner with project managers on revenue recognition billing and WIP costing.
- Serve as the finance point of contact for operations leadership.
- Maintain disciplined accounting processes and resolve deviations.
- Support process improvements and system enhancements.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
- 57 years of accounting experience in an operational business environment.
- Experience with AP AR and full-cycle accounting required.
- Union billing AIA billing or construction accounting experience a plus.
- Strong communication organization responsiveness and follow-through.
- Solid understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition principles.
- Comfortable in a hands-on role focused on execution and accuracy.
