Job Summary
- General Summary
State Representative Linda Chaney is now accepting applications in her St. Petersburg Florida office to assist with a variety of administrative and public relations matters requiring a thorough understanding of the policies procedures and operating practices of the Florida Legislature.
Salary: Annual $47364
Excellent employee benefits. This position is eligible for virtual work. All virtual district employees must reside and work virtually in Florida- Examples of Work Performed
- Knowledge and application of House Rules Protocol House-specific Applications House Administrative Policies and the Legislatures Joint Policies and Procedures.
- Constituent Management
- Day-to-day Operations: Monthly Bills Office Files Office Property Office Supplies Office Communications
- Prepare Monthly and Quarterly Reports
- Manage Office Expense Accounts and Travel System
- Required Legislative Filings
- Municipal County and Regional Issues Related to the District
- Community and Public Outreach
- Mandatory Trainings as Assigned
- Minimum Qualifications
An Associates Degree from an accredited college or university and two years of administrative experience; or a Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university.
Professional administrative experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.Submission of Application
