THE ROLE

This Co-op experience provides participants with a meaningful relevant work experience as part of their academic addition to daily responsibilities participants will have the opportunity to participate in a series of structured activities designed to enhance their learning experience including:

• Presentation Challenges

At the conclusion of this position co-ops will have increased their knowledge of investing the mutual fund industry employee engagement and a firm understanding of how sales works at an asset manager.

MFS co-op positions are a 6-month commitment working Monday Friday (beginning on Wednesday January 13th through Friday June 25th 2027) and work between 35-40 hours. Our program is designed for undergraduate students who are currently enrolled in a co-op program through their college or university and can meet our requirements.

Job Summary

The Business Intelligence and Sales Reporting group provides ad-hoc and scheduled reporting for all areas of distribution using Microstrategy as the business intelligence reporting addition a CRM tool is also used to provide insights to the client facing sales teams via customized dashboards. The Sales Reporting Co-op will be instrumental in tracking and delivering the ad-hoc and scheduled reports as well as assisting in the tracking communication and usage of the dashboards. This experience will offer a great opportunity to be a part of a corporate-wide technology initiative and have exposure to numerous aspects of the organization.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Distribution of sales and activity reporting at multiple levels sent out to management and sales teams on scheduled basis (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly).

• Assist in running ad-hoc reports as requested by sales management and business teams.

• Assist in tracking and updating feedback through participation in active user groups to aid in defining adopting and enhancing the processes and functionality of the applications.

• Assist in the monitoring of user adoption and creation of usage metrics.

• Collaborate with internal teams to help with development and maintenance of training materials.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Receiving a bachelors degree in Business Marketing or Communication preferred.

• Strong attention to detail as well as ability to multitask on a daily basis.

• Interest in technology and its application in business.

• Excel and PowerPoint skills are a plus but not required.

• Strong work ethic with self-driven motivation.

• Passion for working in a team environment.

Hourly Pay Rate: $21.00-$25.00
