Distribution Designer I

Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team.

Responsible for meeting with customers to determine electric needs and requirements. Design jobs to install replace or remove distribution facilities to support customer requests reliability projects or infrastructure improvement.

• Design complex distribution systems and projects
• Perform advanced load calculations and system planning
• Coordinate with engineers project managers and field crews
• Review and approve drawings designs and specifications
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards

• Associate or Bachelors degree in a related field (will take a Technical Diploma)
• 47 years of experience
• Strong expertise in utility design and field practices

• Drafting background a plus
• Experience in Construction
• Experience in Management
• Worked with GDT/GIS
• Familiar with Structural Analysis
• Experience with Pole Foreman a plus

The position will be onsite.
