As we do so we continue to support the Shelter Project the companys in-house compassion program that has been providing free cannabis oil to cancer patients since 2014.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate vacuum distillation equipment to refine cannabis oil according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Prepare equipment and materials for scheduled production runs.

  • Monitor temperatures vacuum pressures flow rates and other critical process parameters.

  • Evaluate product quality throughout the distillation process and report any deviations.

  • Clean sanitize and prepare equipment between production runs.

  • Perform routine equipment inspections and notify leadership of maintenance or repair needs.

  • Accurately complete batch records production logs inventory transactions and other required documentation.

  • Follow all safety procedures Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) sanitation standards and state cannabis regulations.

  • Assist with troubleshooting equipment and process issues to improve efficiency and product quality.

  • Maintain a clean organized and compliant laboratory environment.

  • Collaborate with other production teams to ensure production schedules are met.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with short path wiped film or vacuum distillation.

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Chemistry Chemical Engineering Biochemistry or a related scientific discipline.

  • Experience working in a regulated cannabis manufacturing environment.

  • Familiarity with GMP OSHA and applicable state cannabis regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • One or more years of experience in cannabis extraction laboratory operations chemical processing pharmaceutical manufacturing food production or a similar regulated manufacturing environment.

  • Experience following detailed SOPs and maintaining accurate production documentation.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand walk bend and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to safely work around heated equipment vacuum systems glassware and processing equipment.

  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Details:
  • Location: Denver Colorado

  • Reports To: Evan Mcguire

  • On-Site Requirements: Monday - Thursday

  • Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

  • Compensation: $27.50 per hour
