Apple is looking for Panel Process u0026 Device Engineers Thin Film u0026 Panel Integration Engineers to develop new display technology and display architectures across Apple products. As one of the technical leaders you will have direct responsibility and deep collaboration with highly talented cross-functional engineering teams and Apple panel supplying partners to develop Apple award-winning state-of-the-art products.
As a Panel Process Engineer you will be in charge of implementing new materials and advanced process development for high performance display panels into Apple products. This requires field tests simulation and panel validation at the level of proof of concept to the productivity verification. Other job functions include overseeing and co-developing the equipment used in Thin film Photo Lithography or Etching processes to fulfill the development of advanced closely with the Apple HQ cross-functional Teams in California and Apple industrial partners in Asia to develop panels u0026 TFT devices for Apple productsnLead the optimization of the TFT u0026 panel manufacturing process for the future productsnExploring new materials and new technology to enable next generation Apple products by directly working with vendors and Apple in-region teamsnConduct numerical modeling mechanical simulation device simulation with FEA or TCAD for the product design optimization and failure analysis
BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experiencenBackground for TFT or MOSFET device physicsnExperience in TFT/MOSFET process and its fab operation or Ru0026D activitiesnExcellent written and verbal communication u0026 presentation skills
Experience with flat panel displaysnBackground with Metal Oxide LTPS device physics and modeling (TCAD SPICE)nSelf-motivated and willing to take challenges to explore new fieldsnThe willingness and ability to travel across the country or internationally
