The Dispatcher serves as a key point of communication between customers and field technicians. This role is responsible for coordinating service appointments managing technician schedules responding to customer inquiries and ensuring efficient daily operations.

• Schedule and dispatch technicians to service calls maintenance appointments and emergency repairs.
• Prioritize service requests based on urgency technician availability skill set and geographic location.
• Monitor technician schedules throughout the day and make adjustments as needed to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Receive and respond to customer inquiries service requests and complaints via phone email and other communication channels.
• Provide customers with service availability estimated arrival times and updates regarding delays or schedule changes.
• Follow up with customers after service completion to ensure satisfaction and address any additional concerns.
• Maintain consistent communication with customers regarding the status of their service appointments.
• Coordinate emergency service requests and dispatch technicians promptly to meet customer needs.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions technician activities work orders and service requests.
• Enter and update information within the companys dispatching and customer management systems.
• Generate and distribute reports related to service performance technician productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with technicians customer service representatives and management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts and customer concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Adhere to all company policies procedures and safety standards.

• Minimum of 2 years of dispatching experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational time management and multitasking abilities.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle escalated customer concerns professionally.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Familiarity with the Greater Charleston service area.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts including evenings and weekends when business needs require.

• Previous dispatching experience within the home services industry including:
  • HVAC
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical
• Experience dispatching service technicians in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with ServiceTitan FieldEdge or other field service management software.
• Knowledge of scheduling best practices routing and technician capacity management.
