Job Summary
Harrison Meadows Country Club is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of a Seasonal part-time Dishwasher/Steward. The Dishwasher / Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness sanitation and organization of all kitchen areas dishwashing stations equipment utensils and storage areas. This position plays a critical role in supporting the culinary and service teams by ensuring a clean safe and efficient working environment while following all health and safety standards.
Compensation: $19 / hour *Please note this is a seasonal role*
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes glassware flatware pots pans and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently.
- Operate dishwashing machines properly and safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen floors mats walls drains trash areas and loading docks.
- Remove trash and recycling regularly and transport to designated disposal areas.
- Sweep and mop kitchen and storage areas throughout shifts and at closing.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries following FIFO (First In First Out) procedures.
- Organize and properly store clean dishes utensils and kitchen equipment.
- Support kitchen staff with basic cleaning and prep tasks as assigned.
- Maintain chemical safety standards and proper handling of cleaning supplies.
- Ensure all sanitation practices comply with local health department regulations and club standards.
- Assist with banquet and restaurant breakdowns and post-event cleanup.
- Notify management of maintenance or equipment issues immediately.
- Work as part of a team to maintain efficient kitchen operations during busy service periods.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have experience working infast paced restaurant experience.
