Job Summary

  • This position must be able to work weekends
The Dishwasher/Utility position is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe area while operating the dishwasher.
  • Keep entire dish area clean.
  • Store dishes and flatware properly.
  • Remove refuse cans.
  • Clean dish machine.
  • Clean china storage equipment.
  • Sweep entire kitchen and dining area.
  • Mop entire kitchen and dining area.
  • Clean walk-in refrigerators and freezers.
  • Wash rinse and store pots pans and serving utensils.
  • Dispose of unwanted unusable portions of food items properly.
  • Clean and properly sterilize refuse cans.
  • Assist in storing and stocking shelves in dry storage freezers and walk-in coolers.
  • Store serving trays in serving line as needed
  • Place necessary china and glassware in appropriate areas
Qualifications:
  1. Must be able to read write speak and understand the English language.
  2. High school diploma.
  3. Must be at least 18 years of age.
  4. Able to work weekends and holidays.
  5. Show evidence of negative TB skin test or the equivalent.
  6. Able to work shifts other than the one specified at the time of employment.
  7. Knowledge of all kitchen equipment.
  8. Able to follow written and oral instructions.
