Discipline Engineer | Electrical

Job Responsibilities:Oversight of design in the design of electrical systems such as power distribution stand-by power generation lighting communication fire alarm and security develop and supervise a group of Electrical Engineers in project design and development tasks including drawings calculations cost estimates and specifications respond to client questions and comments review contractor submittals and provide clarifications during electrical department design documents for completion and department staff adhere to accepted industry and company with our QA/QC team assist in the development of company quality standards and with MEP management team to develop and implement electrical short- and long-range manpower and production plans to meet project in cultivation of business development initiatives to pursue new projects including participation in client other duties as and Qualifications:Bachelors degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited program.10 years design related experience with a consulting engineering firm designing - building power lighting communication and security systems.A thorough understanding and knowledge of the architectural and engineering industry including the Federal State and local laws and regulations that pertain to the managing a team of professionals be a licensed Professional oral and written communication using Outlook and Microsoft Office (or similar software).LEED Accreditation and working knowledge of AutoCAD and with HVAC and plumbing systems a salary range for this role is $110000 - $150000 employment offer may deviate from this published range based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience specialty knowledge education geography and/or related certifications not related to any applicants characteristics protected by local state or federal law.
