Director Shinshinim & Israel EngagementJewish Educational Services (JES) an agency of The Associated Jewish Federation of Baltimore seeks an exceptional relationship-builder educator and community leader to serve as the Director Shinshinim & Israel highly visible leadership role oversees JESs Shinshinim program and broader Israel engagement efforts. The Shinshinim Director with the support of the JES team mentors a cohort of Israeli young adults serving throughout the community cultivates partnerships with schools and organizations engages host families and lay leaders and creates meaningful opportunities for connection between Baltimore and successful candidate will be passionate about Israel Jewish communal life leadership development and the power of personal Youll DoLead and Support the Shinshinim CohortMentor and support a cohort of Israeli young adults fostering their personal growth leadership development and success throughout the meaningful learning professional development and community engagement as a trusted coach and advocate helping participants navigate challenges and maximize their Israel EngagementStrengthen connections between Baltimore and Israel through educational programs cultural experiences and community with educators clergy professionals and lay leaders to expand meaningful opportunities for Israel Community PartnershipsCultivate strong relationships with schools synagogues camps and community with community stakeholders to enhance the reach impact and effectiveness of Shinshinim as a trusted resource and connector across the Host Families and Lay LeadersRecruit support and engage host families volunteers alumni and community and partner with the Shinshinim Lay Leadership Committee to support program vision strategy and Strategic LeadershipOversee all aspects of program planning implementation budgeting evaluation and continuous key partnerships with the Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI) the Baltimore-Ashkelon Partnership and other and communicate program impact while identifying opportunities for growth innovation and expanded community degree or more years of experience in Jewish communal service education nonprofit leadership youth engagement Israel engagement or a related experience supervising mentoring and developing young relationship-building communication and facilitation organizational project management and problem-solving to navigate complex stakeholder relationships with professionalism and for Jewish communal life Israel and leadership QualificationsHebrew language living studying or working in in Jewish education camps youth movements Hillel synagogue or community-based managing budgets grants and Jewish Educational ServicesJewish Educational Services (JES) an agency of The Associated Jewish Federation of Baltimore promotes and strengthens Jewish education in Baltimore by supporting families educators schools and community institutions.
