As the Director of Project Delivery & Management for the Americas you will lead the strategic planning design and construction delivery of capital projects across the region. This role provides regional leadership for a portfolio of projects and guides cross-functional teams to deliver safe high-quality cost-effective outcomes aligned with Oracles business priorities.

The ideal candidate brings substantial experience leading a diverse portfolio of capital projects from small-scale improvements to large complex developments across the Americas. This individual builds productive relationships with local authorities and internal and external stakeholders and has a demonstrated record of delivering complex projects with strong regulatory compliance budget discipline schedule control and alignment to regional and enterprise objectives.

Responsibilities

Specific Responsibilities:

• Lead the full project lifecycle for Americas projects from planning design and construction through commissioning closeout and handover to operations.
• Develop and execute the Americas project delivery strategy and annual operating plans in alignment with regional business priorities and stakeholder expectations.
• Develop and manage multi-year regional capital plans and budgets to keep projects within approved financial constraints and deliver expected value.
• Establish project management metrics and reporting to assess portfolio health including budget schedule scope risks and critical success factors; drive early resolution of emerging issues.
• Provide executive-level reporting on Americas project budgets schedules risks decisions and mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate internal teams external consultants and contractors across the Americas to maintain project momentum and prevent avoidable delays.
• Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence through effective delivery processes Lean practices collaboration and shared accountability across project teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with regional stakeholders; ensure frequent two-way communications and serve as the Americas escalation point for Project Delivery & Management.
• Partner with global and regional stakeholders to apply consistent project delivery standards while adapting execution to local business regulatory and market requirements.
• Lead architects engineers and consultants in producing high-quality cost-effective design and construction documentation aligned to project goals.
• Work closely with the Real Estate & Facilities Integrated Facilities Management (RE&F IFM) provider to achieve Americas project delivery objectives.
• Lead value engineering initiatives that optimize design solutions while protecting functionality sustainability and long-term asset value.
• Ensure Americas projects meet applicable regulatory zoning permitting and municipal requirements reducing approval and delivery risk.
• Establish construction oversight protocols that ensure adherence to approved design quality budgets safety requirements and schedules.
• Direct development of detailed project schedules and milestones ensuring timely execution and proactive mitigation of potential delays.
• Conduct regular site visits and progress reviews to monitor quality workmanship and compliance with project specifications.
• Resolve construction conflicts and unforeseen site conditions with contractors and consultants to sustain project efficiency.
• Implement and oversee portfolio risk management and contingency planning for Americas projects.
• Oversee cost estimating bidding and procurement processes to secure competitive pricing and alignment with market conditions across the region.
• Monitor project financial performance and approve payment applications change orders and contract modifications within delegated authority.
• Lead cost-savings initiatives while maintaining project quality safety sustainability and long-term operational efficiency.
• Partner with local state provincial and national authorities to secure entitlements incentives zoning permits and other regulatory approvals as applicable.
• Represent Oracle in public-private partnerships and incentive discussions ensuring project objectives align with municipal and regional requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with city planners economic development agencies and regulatory bodies to support timely project approvals.
• Serve as a primary liaison between Oracle regional government entities contractors and consultants to drive successful project delivery.
• Lead a collaborative results-driven Americas project delivery culture with clear accountability and common objectives.
• Integrate sustainable design and construction practices that meet applicable environmental energy-efficiency and resiliency standards.
• Apply emerging construction technologies and project management methods to improve efficiency manage costs and strengthen project outcomes.

Skills and Experiences

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering Architecture Real Estate Development or a related field from an accredited institution. Masters degree preferred.

• 12 years of construction project management experience including a strong background in ground-up development and regional portfolio delivery.

• Demonstrated success leading large complex capital projects from concept through completion.

• Extensive construction oversight experience with a record of meeting budget schedule safety and quality objectives.

• Proven track record managing architects engineers and consultants to develop and refine design and construction documentation.

• Experience working with municipal and regulatory authorities across the Americas including zoning permitting incentives and compliance requirements.

• Strong understanding of capital planning budgeting financial analysis and public-private partnership structures.

• Experience leading cross-functional teams including consultants contractors and internal stakeholders across multiple markets.

• Strong leadership negotiation problem-solving and executive communication skills.

• Multidisciplinary understanding of real estate facilities engineering construction project management and environmental health and safety (EH&S).

• Ability to work at an Oracle campus daily and located within thirty miles (commute distance) to Oracles Nashville TN campus.

• Relocation assistance may be considered in accordance with Oracle policy and business need.

• Travel throughout the Americas as required.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $126200 to $264100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus equity and compensation deferral.


Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge skills experience market conditions and locations as well as reflect Oracles differing products industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
