Director of Education and Quality Salaried: $83200 Equivalent Hourly: $40 Shift: Days
The McGuire Group is looking to add a Director of Education and Qualityto its this role youll lead and support quality improvement initiatives that enhance resident outcomes regulatory compliance and clinical excellence. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and monitor Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives throughout the facility
Conduct clinical audits to ensure compliance with CMS NYSDOH federal regulations and facility policies
Track trend and analyze quality indicators including falls infections rehospitalizations pressure injuries and other clinical outcomes
Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement corrective action plans
Identify opportunities for process improvement and support implementation of best practices
Assist with survey readiness activities and support regulatory inspections and audits
Educate and mentor staff on quality measures documentation standards regulatory requirements and clinical best practices
Participate in root cause analyses and performance improvement projects
Monitor quality metrics and provide recommendations to improve resident outcomes and operational performance
Maintain accurate records reports and quality improvement documentation
Perform additional duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum education requirement: Associates Degree in Nursing; Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
Minimum experience requirement: Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License required
Strong knowledge of CMS regulations NYSDOH requirements QAPI principles and the survey process
Experience with clinical auditing data analysis and quality improvement initiatives
Excellent communication organizational leadership and problem-solving skills
Ability to analyze data identify trends and implement performance improvement strategies
Strong attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance and resident-centered care
Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and facility leadership
