The McGuire Group is looking to add a Director of Education and Qualityto its this role youll lead and support quality improvement initiatives that enhance resident outcomes regulatory compliance and clinical excellence. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and monitor Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives throughout the facility
• Conduct clinical audits to ensure compliance with CMS NYSDOH federal regulations and facility policies
• Track trend and analyze quality indicators including falls infections rehospitalizations pressure injuries and other clinical outcomes
• Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement corrective action plans
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and support implementation of best practices
• Assist with survey readiness activities and support regulatory inspections and audits
• Educate and mentor staff on quality measures documentation standards regulatory requirements and clinical best practices
• Participate in root cause analyses and performance improvement projects
• Monitor quality metrics and provide recommendations to improve resident outcomes and operational performance
• Maintain accurate records reports and quality improvement documentation
• Perform additional duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum education requirement: Associates Degree in Nursing; Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
• Minimum experience requirement: Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
• Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License required
• Strong knowledge of CMS regulations NYSDOH requirements QAPI principles and the survey process
• Experience with clinical auditing data analysis and quality improvement initiatives
• Excellent communication organizational leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to analyze data identify trends and implement performance improvement strategies
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance and resident-centered care
• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and facility leadership
