Job Description:

We are looking for a strategic curious and highly collaborative Director of Experience Planning to help build and scale a modern practice across our global markets.

This role sits at the intersection of consumer understanding business strategy audience intelligence and activation. You will translate complex business challenges into clear consumer-facing opportunities develop experience strategies that travel across markets and work alongside in-market teams to turn strategy into action.

This is a role for someone who moves fluidly between big-picture strategic thinking and the granular details required to make the strategy realsomeone who can see the system create the plan and help teams land it.

WHAT YOULL DO

1. Lead Global Regional Planning with an Integrated Perspective

  • Lead experience planning across 12 global regions translating global strategy into relevant actionable market experiences.
  • Connect audience motivations moments and channels into strategic frameworks that balance global consistency with local market flexibility.
  • Bring fluency across paid owned and earned channels to design coherent consumer journeys rather than isolated channel plans (spanning content commerce social retail etc.).

2. Own Global Audience Segmentation

  • Serve as the primary owner of the global audience segmentation workstreamfrom identification and sizing to profiling and strategic application.
  • Establish scalable ways of working that allow audience learnings to be shared across markets rather than reinvented locally.
  • Continuously ingest new behavioral cultural media and market signals to sharpen audience definitions and connect them to actionable media and messaging moments.

3. Translate Strategy Into Action (Land the Plane)

  • Act as a strategic guide who moves beyond the initial recommendation to help teams determine exactly what happens next.
  • Translate frameworks into actionable plans briefs and opportunities for regional and in-market teams.
  • Anticipate the practical implications of a strategy across channels and teams knowing when a strategy needs more rigorand when it simply needs to get moving.

4. Design & Facilitate Strategic Workshops

  • Design and facilitate working sessions that unite diverse global stakeholders around complex business and consumer challenges.
  • Turn ambiguity into productive dialogue for both virtual and in-person audiences ranging from executive-level summits to hands-on market planning sessions.
  • Create the ideal conditions for collaborative problem-solving seamlessly shifting between presenting a POV and helping others develop their own.

5. Evolve the Practice & Leverage AI

  • Partner with the Experience Planning Lead to continuously refine frameworks tools and ways of working based on real-world market feedback.
  • Use AI to accelerate research synthesis ideation and strategic problem-solving.
  • Explore new ways emerging technologies can make our planning approach more dynamic intelligent and scalable challenging traditional models.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Experience:Significant background in experience planning comms planning audience strategy or a related discipline with a track record of working across global regional or local markets.
  • Audience Mastery:Strong expertise in audience identification segmentation sizing and activation.
  • Omnichannel Fluency:A deep understanding of how paid owned and earned channels intersect to create cohesive brand experiences.
  • Facilitation Skills:Proven ability to design and lead strategic workshops for senior cross-functional audiences.
  • Modern Toolkit:A practical understanding of AI and an enthusiasm for applying it to strategic workflows.
  • Communication:Exceptional storytelling skills; the ability to make complex thinking simple compelling and actionable.
  • Mindset:An egoless highly collaborative self-starter who thrives in ambiguity builds structure from scratch and believes the best idea winsregardless of where it comes from.

Omnicoms policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
