The Director Candidate Experience role part of Pfizers People Experience division plays a critical role in shaping and enhancing the experiences of candidates at Pfizer. This role is pivotal in driving our recruitment strategies and ensuring that Pfizer continues to bring in the best and brightest minds in the industry. The Director will be instrumental in creating an inclusive and engaging candidate experience thus reinforcing Pfizers reputation as an employer of choice.
Position Summary
This role owns full-cycle recruiting for the U.S. experienced hiring across all Pfizer divisions and functions with a focus on delivering exceptional manager and candidate experience enabling the company to compete for exceptional scientific clinical digital commercial and enabling functions talent in an increasingly competitive market.Reporting directly to VP Candidate Experience you are a key strategic leader within our Global Candidate Experience team.You will partner closely with the business and people experience leaders to translate business strategy organizational capability plans and workforce scenarios into differentiated talent acquisition strategies and provide external talent intelligence workforce insights and market analytics that influence enterprise decisions organizational planning and long-term capability development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruiting Operations & Delivery
Own full-cycle recruiting delivery for all U.S. experienced-hire roles across functions and business units.
Set and hold the team to standards for time-to-fill and quality of hire candidate and hiring manager satisfaction.
Build capacity planning that matches recruiter headcount to hiring demand and allows for flexibility.
Ensure compliant inclusive hiring practices while enhancing the employer brand and candidate experience
Drive adoption and optimization of recruiting technologies enabling enhanced recruiter effectiveness and improved candidate engagement.
2. Business & PX Partnership
Align hiring priorities with business strategy through partnership with HR Business Partners and business leaders
Advise leaders on external talent markets workforce trends and competitive hiring practices
Represent recruiting in workforce and talent planning conversations
Align and influence a complex ecosystem of cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless end-to-end hiring processes.
3. Team Leadership
Grow and develop U.S. recruiting organization
Build best-in-class capabilities across executive recruiting strategic sourcing scientific recruiting employer branding recruiting operations and talent intelligence
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree ; 8 years in talent acquisition including experience running full-cycle recruiting at scale across multiple functions.
People leadership experience managing recruiting managers / senior recruiters
Experience in a large matrixed enterprise; pharma/biotech experience is strongly preferred.
Experience with ATS platforms and recruiting operations/reporting tools.
Excellent knowledge of OFCCP and other U.S. hiring regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advance Degree a plus
