Job Summary
Dir Facilities Operations requires:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of management experience and 5 years of functional facilities operations experience.
- School environment
- Demonstrated project management experience leading building renovation/construction projects as the owners representative while coordinating contractors and vendors.
- Strong client relationship management experience working with senior district leadership and customers.
- Extensive experience managing facilities maintenance custodial operations and grounds operations including synthetic turf maintenance.
- Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) client relationship management project management facilities maintenance custodial operations grounds management synthetic turf maintenance building renovations construction management contractor management vendor management budgeting HVAC plumbing electrical utilities preventative maintenance reactive repair facilities engineering labor and resource allocation operations standards regulatory compliance safety compliance
Duties:
- Responsible for directing facilities maintenance operations of building(s) and property at a single unit.
Manages the preventative maintenance and reactive repair of skilled trades e.g. HVAC plumbing electrical utilities; and manages the hiring training and supervision of staff professionals and management.
- Manages a safe and efficient working environment essential to the performance of the business.
- Oversee construction work and often manages other core Sodexo services and/or logistics of business/operations services e.g. grounds keeping laundry food security inventory mail concierge services.
- Lead a full Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) program across eight district buildings overseeing our team in a predominantly swing and night and shift environment.
- Work in close collaboration with the Superintendent and school administrators ensuring proactive communication exceptional custodial oversight and seamless coordination of maintenance grounds and renovation projects.
