Dining Attendant
Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly and organized Dining Attendant to join our team in Springhill United this customer-focused role you will be the face of our dining establishment ensuring every guest receives exceptional service and a memorable experience. As a Dining Attendant you will work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple tables while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and professionalism. You will also be responsible for setting up and maintaining our continental breakfast service and delivering outstanding lunch service.
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and seat them at designated tables
- Present menus and provide recommendations based on guest preferences
- Take accurate food and beverage orders during lunch service and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff
- Serve meals and drinks promptly and courteously ensuring proper presentation and guest satisfaction
- Clear tables efficiently between courses and after meals maintaining a clean dining environment
- Set and reset tables according to established service standards
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and special needs throughout service
- Process payments and handle transactions accurately
- Set up continental breakfast stations with proper arrangement of beverages pastries cereals fruits breads and spreads according to established standards
- Restock breakfast items throughout service to ensure adequate supply and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of breakfast areas including wiping down surfaces and removing soiled items promptly
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen bar and other dining staff to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain awareness of health safety and sanitation regulations
- Address guest concerns or complaints with empathy and escalate issues when necessary
Qualifications :
- Excellent customer service skills with a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced high-volume dining environment
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry items
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculations
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Reliability and punctuality
- Preferred: Previous experience in a dining restaurant or hospitality setting
- Preferred: Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette
- Preferred: Problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing situations
