Join the new MCC and you will have the opportunity to become part of an organization that has been committed to excellence and industry leadership for over 110 Digital Press Operator is an essential member of the team responsible for running digital printing equipment to manufacture printed labels while continuously monitoring label quality and press work at MCCCompensation: $25$27 hourly depending on experienceShift differentials offered for 2nd and 3rd shift positionsExceptional training and team supportOpportunity to grow within the global organization and learn from the bestGreat environment with a strong and friendly team of coworkersMedical dental vision supplemental insurances Flex & HSA 401(k) matching and paid vacationResponsibilitiesAdhere to all plant and corporate safety rules procedures and guidelinesReport all safety concerns or issues to the immediate supervisorMaintain a clean and safe work environment by completing daily housekeeping assignmentsComplete make-ready in accordance with the Job Ticket and Product Specification documents to ensure the correct print file substrate inks/toners coatings and tooling are usedReview and prepare digital print files including copy color settings and layout before starting the jobComplete all required quality checks related to product specifications including visual and functional checks and all press-side quality checksOperate the digital press to produce product to customer specifications while maintaining quality waste and press efficiencyMaintain consistent quality during the production run. Critical quality checks include copy color registration and ink/toner adhesion. Ensure conformance to all other quality checksComplete all related procedures work instructions and quality measurements as outlined in the BRC standardComplete press make-readies in an efficient mannerComplete all required equipment maintenance dutiesClean print components ink/toner systems and press parts as required and lubricate equipment as neededEnter all required information into the Radius system for material usage and time in an accurate and prompt mannerQualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDDigital press experience preferred; strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail requiredAbility to work from job tickets product specifications and quality standardsAbility to stand for extended periods and work in a manufacturing environmentAbility to work assigned shifts including 2nd or 3rd shift if requiredThe above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organization and the overall business objectives of the Label welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
