Digital Content Production Artist

Were looking for a Digital Content Production Artist to support the production work behind Cricuts new content library. This is a brand new category for us and this role helps us build it: getting models from our artists into the library making sure they work in our software and on our machines and holding the quality bar as we scale volume. 

Were standing up a content type Cricut has never produced before so much of the process does not exist yet. This role suits someone who likes getting handed something unfamiliar figuring out how to make it work and then making it repeatable. Were looking for someone who takes real ownership of their work keeps it moving and speaks up when something in the process needs fixing. 

Youll work closely with our software team our QA lead and partners across content and product. A lot of this job is making sure the right people are unblocked and the work keeps moving so clear communication matters as much as production skill. 

What Youll Do 

• Take ownership of the day-to-day production work keeping models moving through the pipeline and flagging what needs attention 
• Partner with the software team to get models ingested and make sure files are compatible with Cricut software and our machines 
• Work with our QA lead to review models confirm they process correctly and make sure they meet our quality standards 
• Help define and document those quality standards since this is a new content type and most of the process is still being built 
• Keep our tracking systems current and accurate so the team always knows the status of every model in the pipeline 
• Support taxonomy for all our content types to support organization and search 
• Build and document repeatable processes then improve them as volume grows so the pipeline scales without everything routing through one person 
• Use AI tools to speed up repetitive production work and bring new ideas for where automation can replace manual steps 
• Identify troubleshoot and communicate issues when tools or workflows change and route them to the right person to unblock the work 
• Support testing needs for new features or machine launches as assigned 
• Submit clear bug reports and requests to help improve internal tools and processes 
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to help the team scale over time 

Qualifications :

What Were Looking For 

• Strong attention to detail and genuine pride in high-quality work. You catch the small things that would otherwise ship 
• A design eye. You can tell the difference between an asset that technically works and one that people actually want to use 
• Scrappy and self-directed. Youd rather dig into a messy problem and propose a system than wait for one to be handed to you 
• Comfortable owning a process end to end including the unglamorous parts: tracking documentation and follow-through 
• Comfortable driving work forward with people who dont report to you and following up until things are actually done 
• Actively using AI tools in your own work and hungry to find more. We want someone who reaches for automation first and can tell us what they have streamlined 
• Experience with CAD design tools is a strong plus (Fusion 360 Blender SolidWorks Rhino ZBrush or similar).
• Comfortable learning new tools and adapting in an environment that changes often. Youll be asked to work in software you havent used before 
• A collaborative team-first working style 
• Comfortable working in tracking tools like Airtable Workfront or Jira. You keep records accurate and current without being reminded 
• Solid troubleshooting mindset. You like figuring out what is wrong and how to fix it or route it 
• Clear professional communication especially in written updates and bug reports 
• Interest in consumer creativity crafting or design (Cricut familiarity is a plus not required) 
• Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop proficiency is a plus not required
