Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps / Platform Engineer to support modern containerized platforms deployed across cloud and edge environments. This role is critical in building and maintaining secure scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for mission-critical systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in container orchestration infrastructure automation and security compliance particularly within regulated or high-security environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage containerized platform environments across cloud and edge infrastructure
• Administer and optimize Kubernetes clusters for performance and scalability
• Build maintain and secure CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Ansible
• Ensure compliance with security frameworks such as RMF and STIG
• Support deployment and operations in high-security environments (IL4/IL5/IL6)
• Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and implement improvements
• Collaborate with development security and operations teams to ensure secure delivery

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Proficiency in Docker and containerized application deployment
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS GovCloud Azure Government or similar
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform Ansible)
• Experience building secure CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices
• Familiarity with security compliance frameworks (RMF STIG)
• Experience working in regulated or high-security environments

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Platform One or similar defence-oriented platforms
• Exposure to edge computing environments
• Knowledge of container security and hardening practices
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools
• Background in defence aerospace or other regulated industries
