DevSecOps Engineer

The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a DevSecOps engineer to join our team and help us solve one of our customers toughest problems.

Responsibilities:

• Design implement and manage secure virtual and cloud infrastructures

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or other tools to automate the deployment process

• Implement and manage container orchestration using Kubernetes or other similar orchestration software

• Implement automated security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards

• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance issues

• Collaborate with development operations and security teams to maximize the performance and comprehensiveness of the DevSecOps pipeline

• Create and maintain documentation for procedures configurations and programs

• Use DevSecOps methodologies to identify constraints and employ creative solutions to break bottlenecks improve processes and create efficiencies

• Support the development and implementation of backup and disaster recovery strategies

Qualifications:

Required:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current TS/SCI with Polygraph

• Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems Cybersecurity or related field; or equivalent experience in systems engineering

• 7 years of experience as a Systems Engineer DevSecOps Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer supporting classified DoW or Intelligence Community operations

• Experience with automated configuration management using Puppet Ansible or similar tools within a CI/CD framework

• Proficiency in PowerShell and Bash scripting for automation diagnostics and infrastructure lifecycle management

• Strong understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF) NIST SP 800-53 CNSSI 1253 and STIG compliance requirements

• Experience performing vulnerability scanning using ACAS/Nessus and remediating findings to maintain ATO compliance

• Ability to work effectively in distributed mission-focused teams and adapt to rapidly changing operational priorities

Desired:

• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker Podman) in classified environments

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline tools (GitLab CI/CD Jenkins ArgoCD) supporting automated deployments

• Familiarity with incident response disaster recovery and business continuity planning for mission-critical systems

• Experience with private or commercial cloud infrastructure supporting classified workloads

• Relevant certifications: CompTIA Security

• Advanced degree in Cybersecurity Information Systems or related field (Masters or Ph.D.)
