DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer you will play a crucial role in streamlining development testing and production environments to support mission success. You will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to automate processes enhance system reliability and improve deployment efficiency. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality software solutions while maintaining a robust infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
• Collaborate with software developers to optimize code deployment and application performance.
• Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS Azure GCP) to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Automate operational processes using tools such as Ansible Terraform or similar.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development test and production environments.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and performance.
• Work with security teams to enforce best practices and ensure compliance across environments.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in a related field (Computer Science Software Engineering Information Systems Mathematics or similar discipline)
• Proven experience in a DevOps role or similar position.
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python Bash).
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI CircleCI).
• Understanding of networking databases and system administration.

Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted range based upon the position level job responsibilities location experience required degrees required certifications experience with specific technologies organizational needs and other factors.

• Junior DevOps Engineer:Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in a related field or 4 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma. Salary Range: $90000 - $150000
• DevOps Engineer:Requires 7 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor of Science degree in a related field or 11 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma. Salary Range: $150000 - $190000
• Senior DevOps Engineer:Requires 14 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor of Science degree in a related field or 18 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma. Salary Range: $180000 - $220000
• Principal DevOps Engineer:Requires 20 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor of Science degree in a related field or 24 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma. Salary Range: $210000 - $250000
