Apples Events Streaming and Broadcast Services (ESB) team is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team. Our team manages and maintains the software development for Events and streaming applications - both frontend and backend the infrastructure automation CI/CD pipelines and other related tooling. The Events Streaming and Broadcast (ESB) team provides the cloud-based infrastructure for multiple backend production systems that enable applications and/or services that touch several thousands of people internal and this role you will champion innovation by leveraging modern generative AI tools to accelerate documentation optimize workflows. Our team paves the way for engineering teams to develop and roll out new features. As a DevOps Engineer youll play a pivotal role in designing implementing and maintaining this critical infrastructure and automation. You will enhance our CI/CD capabilities manage Kubernetes deployments across multi-cloud and on-prem environments and develop custom tools to boost developer efficiency. Youll also explore and integrate Generative AI to optimize our processes.

Design implement and maintain critical infrastructure and automation for large-scale backend expert operational support for systems deployed across hybrid cloud environments including Kubernetes on AWS and on-premise maintain and monitor CI/CD infrastructure including physical and virtual develop enhance and optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve software and scale Kubernetes deployments across multi-cloud and on-prem custom tooling and scripts to boost developer efficiency and streamline closely with engineering teams to improve integration release and deployment evaluate and integrate innovative technologies including Generative AI to optimize DevOps processes and drive efficiency.

BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.n5 years of experience in Software Development.n5 years of experience as a DevOps engineer.n5 years in Python or other languages.

Experience in Kubernetes Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as experience with the SDLC including Continuous Integration and Agile development experience with Infrastructure as Code systems like Pulumi and experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins Ansible Docker Grafana and developing Microservices and REST with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or debugging and problem solving with development environments such as Xcode communication skills and ability to and adaptable in a high-paced -oriented analytical methodical AND creative thinker committed to driving quality -motived passionate about DevOps enjoys a steep learning on experience in Gen AI Generative AI assistants to accelerate the work process.
