Job Summary
Leidos was awarded the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared Services contract. Leidos is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer across AWS Azure Google and Oracle clouds. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to modernize a leading global-scale multi-cloud environment in support of a critical mission supporting USAF system resiliency security and cost effectiveness.
Location:
Due to the majority of the workload for this position needing to be conducted in a secure facility candidates will be required to work onsite. Preferred candidates will be located near Hanscom AFB (Boston MA) or work in Huntsville AL.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain. Additional experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
- Must have an active Secret Clearance.
- US citizenship required
- Certifications: CompTIA Security or equivalent (IAT-2)
- Working knowledge of DevSecOps principles and Agile methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban).
- Experience supporting or administering cloud-based platforms (AWS Azure GCP or OCI).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes OpenShift).
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g. Python Bash Java Go).
- Understanding of Linux/Unix systems networking fundamentals and version control tools (Git).
- Strong collaboration and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting DoD or USAF cloud environments (e.g. Cloud One Platform One).
- Familiarity with Zero Trust concepts.
- Cloud certifications (AWS Azure Google or Oracle).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus Grafana Splunk or ELK.
- Exposure to security scanning compliance frameworks or DevSecOps automation.
- Example certifications include: Industry Professional certification Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate (KCNA) Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-303 and AZ-304) Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
