Core Technical Requirements
Must-Have Skills
- AWS & Kubernetes Expertise - These are bread-and-butter technologies for the role
- kubectl Command Flow Understanding - Candidates should explain what happens behind the scenes when executing commands not just name-drop terms
- EKS Permissioning - Understanding how EKS pods/containers access AWS resources (S3 buckets etc.) and the permission models required
- EKS Cluster Troubleshooting - Practical experience diagnosing and resolving cluster issues
- Kubernetes Secrets Management - Knowledge of how to manage secrets within K8s

Role Description
- Ensure seamless integration of development operations workflows.
- Partner with app dev teams to translate infrastructure requirements
- Promote efficiency scalability security and reliability across the software lifecycle.
- Own infrastructure engineering automation and operational excellence.
Core Responsibilities
- Design engineering platforms tooling for building deploying and operating apps
- Develop automation for common development operational tasks.
- Monitor system performance availability; remediate issues quickly.
- Collaborate with software data engineers to deliver operationally sustainable solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years in Cloud Ops / SRE / DevOps roles.
- Experience with GitOps CI/CD (Jenkins ArgoCD etc.).
- Strong in observability: Prometheus Grafana Splunk etc.
- Proficient in public cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Deep expertise in AWS services (RDS EKS CloudWatch).
- Strong with Docker Kubernetes Helm.
- Expert with config mgmt: Ansible Terraform.
- Strong Linux operations troubleshooting.
- Build actionable monitoring frameworks; continuous reliability improvement.
- Strong communication collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors in CS or Engineering (or equivalent).
- 10 years in Cloud Ops / SRE / DevOps.
- 1 years in software engineering or architecture.
- Experience supporting PCI SOC2 SOX or similar compliance audits.
