Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Java Kafka Developer with strong expertise in Java Spring Boot Microservices and Apache Kafka to design develop and maintain scalable high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building event-driven architectures developing RESTful APIs and implementing real-time data processing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java/J2EE Spring Boot and Microservices.
- Build and support event-driven applications using Apache Kafka.
- Develop Kafka producers consumers topics partitions and consumer groups.
- Design and implement REST APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
- Work with distributed systems and real-time streaming platforms.
- Troubleshoot application and Kafka-related performance issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and participate in Agile development processes.
- Ensure application security performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Java 8/11/17 Spring Boot and Microservices.
- Experience with Apache Kafka Kafka Streams Kafka Connect and Schema Registry.
- Expertise in RESTful Web Services (JAX-RS).
- Experience with Hibernate/JPA and SQL databases (Oracle SQL Server MySQL).
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience with Git Maven Jenkins and CI/CD tools.
- Strong understanding of multithreading collections and JVM performance tuning.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS Azure or GCP).
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
- Exposure to monitoring tools such as Splunk Prometheus Grafana or ELK.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
