Job Summary

This position is 100% onsite; no remote or hybrid option is available at this time

More Specific Duties Include:

  1. Develop modify and maintain 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings based on product requirements design specifications and engineering standards.
  2. Perform dimensional engineering analysis to evaluate tolerances tolerance stack-ups and manufacturability of components and assemblies.
  3. Translate engineering design intent and GD&T requirements into engineering measurement strategies using CMM programming platforms.
  4. Create and optimize CMM programs used for the dimensional evaluation of complex components and assemblies to support engineering validation and design analysis.
  5. Collaborate with product design manufacturing engineering and quality engineering teams to resolve dimensional and design-related technical challenges and improve product manufacturability.
  6. Support engineering activities related to product development design changes engineering validation and updates to technical documentation.
  7. Evaluate measurement methodologies and ensure alignment with engineering specifications GD&T requirements and dimensional engineering principles.
  8. Maintain engineering documentation related to dimensional analysis measurement strategies and technical engineering records.
  9. Provide engineering input during design reviews to ensure dimensional requirements can be effectively validated using available engineering measurement technologies.
  10. Participate in engineering initiatives focused on improving product design robustness dimensional control strategies and engineering measurement capability.

                M-F 40 hrs./wk. 8:00 am 5:00 pm.

                MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

                U.S. or Foreign Bachelors Degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering (or a closely related field)

                Two (2) years of aerospace quality engineering experience.

                Two (2) years of applied engineering focused on aerospace gas turbine engines.

                Two (2) years of experience with CMM programming.
