What You Will Do:

• Support maturation of current modelbased engineering tools to production readiness including assisting in validation activities for Quality Management System (QMS) compliance.
• Provide helpdesk operations for current and future deployed modelbased tools resolving user issues performing debugging and coordinating defect resolution with software vendors and internal developers.
• Assist the MBDMI Strategic Lead to develop and implement crossfunctional strategies for consumption of MBD data elements within native and derivative toolchains.
• Perform validation and productionreadiness assessments of the modelbased tools ecosystem ensuring tools support consistent digital product definition for Production parts.
• Support efforts to standardize Engineering usage conventions modeling practices and consumption patterns for all supported modelbased tools.
• Maintain and sustain tools used for developmentpart definition ensuring compatibility as new capabilities mature and standards evolve.
• Contribute to scalable software stack development and sustainment planning to ensure continuity across upstream design and downstream manufacturing/inspection systems.
• Assist in evaluating and integrating software enhancements (e.g. NX updates PMI improvements) into established enterprise roadmaps and tool deployment plans.
• Conduct consumption testing and data validation for MBD elements across PLM CAD CAM CAI and MES systems.
• Collaborate with software vendors to guide development debugging enhancement prioritization and longterm tool evolution.
• Work with Manufacturing Operations Supplier Quality and Digital Technologies teams to understand their digital maturity and provide debugging troubleshooting and adoption support.
  

Deliverables:

• Support completion of REPM Production Readiness (Gate D) for all modelbased engineering tools.
• Updated and standardized Engineering workflows methods and usage conventions for modelbased tools across both development and production part definition.
• Helpdesk support structure with defined SLAs triage processes and escalation paths.
• Engineering Standard Work & Training for creation validation and consumption of digital product definition using MBDMI tools.
• Tool specification documents deployment playbooks and sustainment plans for scalable software solutions.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelors degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
• 5 years of engineering experience or a Masters degree in a related field and 3 years of related engineering experience.
• Experience with ModelBased Enterprise ModelBased Definition ModelBased Manufacturing and ModelBased Inspection principles.
• Experience with PLM CAD CAM CAI and MES systems (NX Teamcenter Teamcenter Manufacturing Teamcenter Quality).
• Experience maturing engineering software to meet QMS and operational requirements.
• Handson experience with neutral model formats (STEP QIF JT etc.) and their consumption by downstream systems.
• Experience supporting multidisciplinary engineering and manufacturing workflows.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Active Secret Clearance
• Experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter ecosystem.
• Familiarity with Teamcenter Manufacturing Teamcenter Quality Solumina/iBaset SAP or enterprise CAI platforms.
• Experience in Agile development or tool deployment frameworks.
• Experience providing support or helpdesk operations for engineering tools.

The salary range for this role is 86800 USD - 165200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
