Contract Details:

This is a part-time position with 40 hours per week at our headquarters in Location. The contract will be for a period of length of contract. There is potential for this position to become full-time in the future.

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Design Engineer to join our team on a part-time basis. The Design Engineer will be responsible for creating and implementing designs for various construction projects. This includes developing plans drawings and specifications as well as overseeing the construction process to ensure that the design is executed accurately.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with project managers architects and clients to understand project requirements and objectives

- Create detailed designs and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software

- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information and assess project feasibility

- Prepare and present design proposals to clients for approval

- Work closely with construction teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently

- Monitor and review construction progress to ensure design specifications are being met

- Make necessary adjustments to designs based on feedback and changes in project scope

- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in design technology

- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment

Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in design engineering preferably in the construction industry

- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools

- Strong understanding of construction processes and techniques

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

- Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations
