Job Summary
Ontario County County Administrators Office is looking for qualified applicants to fill a full-time Deputy County Administrator position in their office.
Salary:2026 $145496/yr.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Either:
1. Possession of a Masters Degree in Public Administration Business Administration Political Science Human Resources Finance or a closely related field and four (4) years of full time paid professional experience in a large and complex organization; OR
2. Possession of a Bachelors Degree in Public Administration Business Administration Political Science Human Resources Finance or a closely related field and six (6) years of full time paid professional experience in a large and complex organization; OR
3. A combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of numbers (1) and (2) above.
SUBSTITUTION: Possession of a Juris Doctorate may be substituted for the specified Masters Degree.
SPECIAL NOTE: EDUCATION: Your degree must have been awarded by a college or university accredited by a regional national or specialized agency recognized as an accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education/U.S. Secretary of Education. If your degree was awarded by an educational institution outside the United States and its territories you must provide independent verification of equivalency. SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: In accordance with NYS Public Officers Law Article 2 Section 3 and Local Law # 10 of 2023 the Deputy County Administrator must be a resident of Ontario County.
