Dental Assistant

The Dental Assistant

• Assists dentist in delivery of patient care.

• Organizes dental clinic equipment and materials.

• Coordinates operating room cases and assists staff dentists.

• Enhances professional development through participating in inservices and continuing education programs.

• Communicates with physicians dentists nursing staff and ancillary hospital personnel patients and patients families.

Education: High school or equivalent.

Licensure Certification and/or Registration: Virginia Dental Radiation Safety certificate; AHA BLS-HCP required.

Other Minimum Qualifications: Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation Range:

Employee pay is based on a variety of factors including qualifications credentials education and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
