We areexpanding our Consumer Division and looking for a talented Demand Planner to help driveaccurate forecasting optimized inventory and strong Cross functionalalignment. -functional alignment.

Position Summary
The Demand Planner will be responsible for developing maintaining and improvingdemand forecasts for assigned product categories within Almos Consumer Division. Thisrole plays a key role in ensuring product availability minimizing inventory risk andsupporting revenue growth. The ideal candidate has hands on experience with a leadingdemand planning platform strong analytical skills and 23 years of experience inforecasting and/or inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop manage and improve SKU-level forecasts using demand planningsoftware and internal analytics. Level forecasts using demand planning softwareand internal analytics.
  • Analyze historical data trends promotions seasonality POS data and customerinput to refine forecasts.
  • Partner with Sales Purchasing Category Management and Operations to alignassumptions and communicate forecast changes.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and bias; identify root causes and implement continuousimprovement actions.
  • Support S&OP / IBP processes through forecast presentations insights and data-driven recommendations.
  • Review inventory levels inbound supply and risk exposure; recommendadjustments to maintain healthy stock levels.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams on new product introductionsdiscontinuations and lifecycle planning.
  • Generate and interpret demand planning reports for leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Support process improvements tool enhancements and data governance withinthe planning function.



Qualifications

  • 23 years of experience in demand planning forecasting supply chain or inventory management.
  • Experience using a leading demand planning or forecasting tool (e.g. Blue Yonder SAP IBP Kinaxis Anaplan NetSuite o9 Tools Group StockIQ or similar).
  • Bachelors degree or certificate in Supply Chain Management Inventory Management Operations Business or related field.
  • Strong analytical quantitative and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel data manipulation and visualization.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross functionally.

Preferred

  • Experience in consumer products retail or distribution environments.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and data integration fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with S&OP / IBP processes.
  • SQL or Power BI knowledge is a plus.
  • Seasonal goods or Appliance experience preferred.
