Job Title: Software Testing Lead Designation: Test Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Lead to join our dynamic software testing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Playwright a modern testing framework and will be responsible for leading testing initiatives to ensure the quality and performance of our software applications. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for quality assurance and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.

• Lead the software testing efforts including planning execution and reporting of testing activities.
• Develop and implement test strategies and test plans that align with project requirements and timelines.
• Utilize Playwright to create maintain and execute automated test scripts for web applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers product managers and business analysts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Identify document and track defects using appropriate tools ensuring timely resolution.
• Conduct regular reviews of test cases and test results to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Mentor and guide junior testers in best practices for software testing and automation.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in software testing and automation tools.

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Playwright for automated testing.
• Proficiency in writing and executing test cases both manual and automated.
• Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members.

• Familiarity with other testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium JUnit or TestNG.
• Experience in performance testing and security testing.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript TypeScript or Python.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g. ISTQB CSTE) are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to lead testing efforts and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
