Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Customer Coordination & Project Management
- Assume primary responsibility for customer communication following completion of the sales contract.
- Contact customers to review delivery requirements timelines site access and placement expectations.
- Assess site readiness through customer discussions photographs measurements site visits or other appropriate means.
- Identify and communicate any concerns regarding site conditions access limitations or safety issues prior to delivery.
- Schedule deliveries in coordination with customers and internal team members.
- Ensure customers understand and complete any site preparation requirements before delivery.
Delivery Operations
- Safely transport and deliver sheds camps and other portable structures to customer locations.
- Operate trucks trailers specialized delivery equipment and related machinery in accordance with company policies and safety procedures.
- Evaluate delivery sites upon arrival and make sound decisions regarding safe building placement.
- Set foundation blocks level buildings and perform other required setup services.
- Complete final walkthroughs with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any questions.
- Maintain delivery equipment and vehicles in clean safe and serviceable condition.
Safety Leadership
- Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to Treelines safety culture.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and equipment safety checks.
- Identify and mitigate hazards before during and after deliveries.
- Follow all company safety policies applicable regulations and best practices.
- Participate in safety meetings training programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stop work and seek guidance whenever conditions create unacceptable safety risks.
Team Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with sales operations and management teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
- Contribute ideas and feedback to improve delivery processes safety practices and customer satisfaction.
- Support a shared leadership environment where team members are encouraged to take initiative and contribute to organizational success.
- Assist with other operational duties as needed during non-delivery periods.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Ability to safely tow and maneuver trailers and oversized loads.
- Experience operating trucks trailers equipment and/or machinery.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining close coordination with team members.
- Mechanical aptitude and basic construction knowledge.
- Reading and writing skills sufficient to complete all required paperwork
- Ability to problem solve and adapt quickly when circumstances and plans change.
- Ability to plan ahead and assist with scheduling conflicts.
- Ability to pass Federal DOT drug and alcohol screen DOT physical pre-employment physical and background check.
Education Certificates:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- Two or more years of relevant driving experience.
- No preventable accidents in the past 24 months.
- No more than two moving violations in the past 36 months.
- No reckless driving convictions in the previous five years.
- No drug and/or alcohol related driving offenses or convictions within the previous five years.
- Must be available to work your designated shift which may include day night and weekend hours and be capable of driving at night
- Reading and writing skills sufficient to complete all required paperwork
- Drivers must be able to meet DOT and OSHA requirements
- Maintain driving record in accordance with Fed. and State Motor Carrier and Company requirements.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift or lower objects weighing up to 85 pounds for short periods of time from the ground or above ground level.
- Ability to move objects up to 85 pounds by pushing pulling or carrying distances up to 100 feet.
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs on trailer and tractor and at loading and unloading facilities.
- Ability to twist kneel squat crawl and maneuver in sometimes confined quarters to move blocks and level buildings
- Ability to maintain safe and efficient control of the equipment and building at all times
- Reach at or above shoulder height
- Demonstrate visual and auditory acuity in order to safely operate the vehicle
- Ability to determine colors and depth perception
- Able to be exposed to periodic moderate to fairly loud noise below 85db
- The ability to climb in and out of the vehicle several times per day
- The ability to work in all weather conditions
- The ability to wear OSHA required PPE
