Delivery Driver

Location: Detroit MIType of Hire: Direct HireSchedule: MondayFriday 5:00 AM2:00 PMOptional Saturdays: Daily start and end times may vary depending on the delivery schedulePay: $250/Day Flat RateAbout the Role:We are seeking a dependable and professional Driver to join our meat delivery team. The Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting meat products to local and regional customers including restaurants grocery stores and wholesale buyers. The ideal candidate is reliable customer-service oriented and comfortable handling and delivering perishable Duties and Responsibilities:Safely operate a refrigerated delivery truck to transport meat and unload products at customer all deliveries are accurate and completed on proper temperature control to ensure products remain in excellent all DOT and company safety standards and and monitor vehicle condition and report any maintenance or safety professional and courteous customer service at each delivery invoices delivery paperwork logs and other required documentation assigned delivery routes and any delays or delivery issues meat products and other items weighing approximately 5085 a clean and organized delivery early mornings and Saturdays as needed based on the delivery Qualifications and Requirements:Valid Chauffers license with a clean driving of 12 years of driving experience; food delivery experience is experience transporting perishable products is a plusFamiliarity with Detroit and surrounding areas to safely lift and handle 5085 attention to detail and time-management communication and customer-service punctual and to work independently and manage a delivery to work early mornings and weekends as :Competitive $250/day flat-rate payHealth InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO)401(k) after 6 monthsVacation days after 12 monthsEmployee meat discount 20% off up to $100/weekOpportunities for career growth within the company
