Job Summary
One of our customers is looking for a Deburring Technician for a contract to hire opportunity!
Firstshift: MondayThursday5:00AM2:30PM;Friday5:00AM12:00PM
TheDeburringTechnicianisresponsibleforremovingburrssharpedgesandotherimperfectionsfrommetalcomponentstoensuresmoothfinishedsurfaces.Therolesupportsqualitycontrolbyensuringmanufacturedpartsmeetspecificationsandaresafeforuse.
Keyresponsibilities
* Deburringandfinishing: UseDremelsfilesgrinderssandpaperdeburringknivesandpneumatictoolstoremoveexcessmaterialandsharpedges.
* Qualityinspection: Visuallyinspectpartsusingmagnifiersandmeasurementgaugestoidentifyburrsdefectsandinconsistencies
*Toolmaintenance: Cleanandmaintaintoolsandequipmentandreportdamagedorworntools.
* Safety: Followestablishedsafetyprocedureswhenworkingwithtoolsandmachinery.
* Teamwork: Workwithmachinistsqualitycontrolpersonnelandsupervisorstoresolvepart-qualityissues.
* Documentation: Recordcompletedworktrackpartsprocessedandcommunicateproductionprogressorproblems.
*Manufacturingmachiningorsimilarexperiencepreferred.
* Familiaritywithdeburringtoolsandequipment.
* Strongattentiontodetailandmanualdexterity.
* Basicmathskillsandfamiliaritywithmeasurementtools.
* Abilitytositforextendedperiods.
* Repetitivegrippingandfilingmotions.
* Abilitytoliftandhandlematerialsweighingupto35pounds.
