Job Title: Data / Information Architect Advanced
Location: Columbia SC (100% Onsite MondayFriday)
Duration: 12 months (with possible extension)
Interview Process: In-person onsite at headquarters in Blythewood SC
Residency Requirement: Open nationwide but must relocate to South Carolina prior to starting

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Data / Information Architect to support a large-scale data modernization project. The role will focus on data modeling database design and ensuring data integrity across Oracle and SQL Server environments. This position requires hands-on experience with ERwin database administration and supporting data governance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain logical and physical data models using ERwin Data Modeler.

  • Perform reverse and forward engineering of database structures.

  • Establish best practices for data modeling metadata management and documentation.

  • Ensure database designs meet scalability integrity and performance requirements.

  • Identify and resolve data integrity and consistency issues.

  • Collaborate with architects DBAs developers and business analysts to translate requirements into data models.

  • Manage version control of data models and maintain repositories.

  • Support data governance and compliance through effective modeling strategies.

  • Provide production support for Oracle and SQL Server databases as directed by the DBA manager.

  • Assist with backup/restore Oracle Grid Control and related DBA activities.

Required Qualifications
  • 3 years of hands-on data modeling experience with ERwin.

  • 3 years of experience with Oracle 18/19 DBA and/or SQL Server 2019/2022.

  • High School Diploma (minimum).

Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 years of experience with backup and restore of databases.

  • 3 years of experience with Oracle Grid Control.

  • Oracle Certified Associate or other relevant Oracle certification.
