Dataflow Engineer

As a Dataflow Engineer youll work handson with Apache NiFi collaborate with data providers and consumers and help enhance the performance and usability of our datamovement ecosystem. Responsibilities:

• Route transform and enrich data across diverse systems

• Configure deploy and maintain Apache NiFi workflows and clusters

• Partner with data source and destination stakeholders to ensure smooth dataflow operations

• Assist with escalated customer tickets and troubleshooting dataflow issues

• Support continuous improvement of dataflow processes and reliability

Qualifications:

Required:

• Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph

• Education & Experience: Candidates must meet one of the following combinations of education and experience in a technical field directly related to this role. All degrees diplomas and certificates must be from accredited institutions

  • High School Diploma 12 years of relevant experience

  • Associates degree 10 years of relevant experience

  • Bachelors degree 8 years of relevant experience

  • Masters degree 6 years of relevant experience

  • Doctorate 4 years of relevant experience

• Minimum 2 years of handson experience with Apache NiFi

• Experience setting up NiFi clusters

• Experience working in an Agile development environment

• Ability to write and interpret Regular Expressions (RegEx)

Desired:

• Experience with AWS Elasticsearch or Splunk

• Linux proficiency

• Knowledge of MySQL

• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Ansible

• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker Kubernetes)
