Position Responsibilities:

Perform engineering work to deliver performance and scalability for large-scale distributed cloud-native database services. Conduct performance analysis performance bottleneck detection and fixing. Resolve customer issues and design and develop application tools end-to-end testing and overall system architecture. Build automated performance regression infrastructure. Conduct performance benchmarking for new hardware and software versions. Perform performance bottleneck analysis and software optimizations for new features. Work on workload optimizations and capacity planning. Drive resolution of critical customer performance issues. Participate in creating and driving the performance roadmap to deliver cost-effective and scalable database services. Work on multiple technical projects and ensure schedules milestones and priorities are compatible with technology and business goals.

40 hours / week 8:00am-5:00pm Salary Range: $143500/year to $194200/year.

Position Requirements:

Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have two years of experience in the following skills: (1) working on PostgreSQL MySQL or similar Online Transaction Processing (OLTP) databases; (2) hands-on experience performing query tuning and performance analysis of storage systems; (3) using at least one of the following performance evaluation tools: GCOV Flamegraphs or perf; (4) working on large code bases and coding experience in C C or Python and; and (5) hands-on experience building a performance automation tool.#0000
