Database Administrator

Crowned Grace International (CGINTL) is seeking a Database Administrator to manage the Structured Query Language data server(s) supporting the Mission Performance Improvement Branch. The DBA develops ETL processes and builds the organizational data warehouse and database solutions that feed performance management and analytics. The DBA also trains Government and support personnel in database administration methods. The Database Administrator (DBA) manages the Structured Query Language (SQL) data servers that support the Mission Performance Improvement Branch.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Administer SQL data server(s): configuration performance tuning access control and backup and recovery coordination in compliance with NIST SP 800-53 and DHS 4300A.
• Develop run and maintain ETL processes and interfaces with source systems.
• Design and develop data warehouse structures: tables views stored procedures and functions. Write queries and validate data integrity.
• Train Government and support personnel in database administration methods
• Carry out privileged-user responsibilities and report cybersecurity incidents under HSAR 3052.204-73.
• Document database designs and participate in Sprint ceremonies.

QUALIFCATIONS

• Bachelors degree
• Seven (7) Years of Management Experience
• At least four years of experience managing SQL servers and using SQL-related query languages.
• CompTIA Security or equivalent held at the start of performance.
• Eligible for privileged user account access.
• Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Power BI; Excel Access PowerPoint and SharePoint; and Grafana Qlik Python and Jupyter Notebook.
• Eligible for a Tier 2 Public Trust determination and CAC issuance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate (DP-300) or equivalent.
• Databricks Lakehouse
• Experience administering databases on DHS or DoD networks.
