The role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Support Manager to oversee project database administration and data integrity for our Assembly & Distribution operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate project setup inventory reconciliation reporting billing support and system administration that enables successful project execution from start to finish.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced operational environment enjoys solving data-related challenges and can partner effectively with Operations Project Management and Finance teams to ensure project accuracy and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Database & Project Administration

• Configure maintain and test project databases to support A&D operations.

• Perform data validation quality assurance and system updates to ensure data accuracy.

• Manage project setup activities including data imports configuration changes and address list validation.

• Conduct database audits and support data quality initiatives.

Inventory Reconciliation & Data Integrity

• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies involving shipped received and scanned materials.

• Reconcile inventory transactions and validate serial number accuracy.

• Identify data issues determine root causes and implement corrective actions.

• Maintain documentation related to inventory investigations and resolutions.

Reporting Billing & Project Support

• Provide accurate project data to support customer invoicing and billing activities.

• Generate project reports billing summaries and project closeout documentation.

• Collaborate with Operations Project Management and Finance to ensure accurate reporting and project tracking.

• Support customer audits and documentation requests.

Technical Support

• Manage project-specific system configurations dashboards and customer portals.

• Support handheld devices user access project assignments and troubleshooting.

• Serve as the primary contact for database and system-related issues.

• Assist with user training and onboarding for project tools and systems.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve data accuracy reporting processes and inventory controls.

• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Support system enhancements and operational improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in database support inventory management distribution logistics manufacturing project coordination or related operational functions.

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Information Systems Operations Logistics or a related field preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.

• Experience investigating data discrepancies and performing reconciliations.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and database management systems.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across cross-functional teams.

• Experience in manufacturing assembly logistics or distribution environments preferred.
